Effective 11 July 2026 · The short version is at the top

The plain-English summary. Arrrgue is a party game. There are no accounts. We don't ask for your email, and we never sell your data. Names and list items you type are held in memory only while a game room is live, then discarded. We use privacy-minded analytics to count how many games are played and which modes are popular — that's it. If you play, you agree to what's below.

Who we are

"Arrrgue" (the "Service"), operated by Hedgehog Interactive LLC ("we", "us"). Questions: contact@hedgehoginteractive.com.

What we collect

We do not collect names, emails, passwords, payment details, or any account information, because Arrrgue has no accounts. Signing in with Google is optional (see below); if you don't, we hold no account for you at all.

Optional Google sign-in

You can optionally sign in with Google to keep a private log of your past verdicts. If you do, we receive your name and email address from Google to identify your account and store your game history. Sign-in is entirely optional — the full game works without it — and you can stop using it at any time by signing out. We never post anything to your Google account.

How long we keep it

Cookies and similar technology

Advertising, and your consent choices

When ads are enabled, we show them through Google AdSense, and only on the landing and results screens and the occasional between-games break — never during a game phase. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

EEA, UK, and Switzerland: if you’re visiting from these regions, you’ll be shown a consent message before personalized ads are served, delivered through Google’s certified consent-management platform. You can grant or refuse consent for ad personalization there, and change your choice later. California and other US states: you’ll see the applicable US-states privacy message and can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for personalized advertising. You can also learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Who we share with

We share data only with the service providers that run the game: Google Analytics (usage analytics), Google AdSense (advertising, when enabled), Google Sign-In (only if you choose to sign in), and our hosting provider, Google Cloud (to serve the app). We do not sell personal data.

Children

Arrrgue is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. Please don't enter another person's real personal information as a name or list item.
